TDV KAGEM- Kuveyt Türk  Art Workshops Exhibition Opens Its Doors

Kuveyt Türk, in cooperation with TDV KAGEM, brings art works of students studying at 'TDV KAGEM - Kuveyt Türk Art Workshops' to art lovers.

According to Kuveyt Türk's statement, the works of TDV KAGEM- Kuveyt Türk Art Workshops teachers and students opened their doors to visitors free of charge on 18-30 November at the Istanbul National Palaces Dolmabahçe Art Gallery. The exhibition includes traditional arts such as calligraphy, illumination, miniature, tile, marbling, as well as watercolor, charcoal and calligraphy works.

TDV KAGEM - Kuveyt Türk Art Workshops, implemented by Kuveyt Türk with the Women, Family and Youth Center (KAGEM) operating under the Turkish Religious Foundation, have been providing training to approximately 200 participants every year in both traditional and modern art branches since 2018.

Acting with the awareness that art is a bridge that transfers culture between generations, TDV KAGEM- Kuveyt Türk Art Workshops organize art workshops, while using the healing and rehabilitative power of art with art workshops for children and youth under state protection.

- Provides art training to young people for 3 years

According to the statement, Kuveyt Türk, together with KAGEM, implemented the restoration and furnishing of 12 rooms in the courtyard of Istanbul Beşiktaş Sinan Pasha Mosque and designing them as art workshops in 2018.

TDV KAGEM- Kuveyt Türk Art Workshops, located in the courtyard of the Sinan Pasha Mosque, have been providing training in many fields such as abstract painting, watercolor, calligraphy and music, especially our traditional arts such as calligraphy, illumination, miniature, tile and marbling since 2018. In art workshops, courses are organized for adults as well as children and youth.
