Yıldız Mountain experienced a busy first day of the new year

Yıldız Mountain Winter Sports Tourism Center in Sivas welcomed its visitors on the first day of the new year.

Citizens who came to Yıldız Mountain Winter Sports and Tourism Center, which is 58 kilometers away from the center, enjoyed the snow by skiing and snowboarding.

Some citizens spent time sledding and some skated in the ice park at the ski center, where 6 tracks, three of which are professional, are open and the snow thickness was measured as 75 centimeters.

Mahirr Budak, who spent the first day of the new year with his family at Yıldız Mountain Winter Sports and Tourism Center, told AA correspondent that he was happy to ski in a beautiful environment.

Budak, who stated that the tracks and the environment in the center were beautiful, said, "Both the facilities are beautiful and economical. That's why people come here."

Budak wished the new year to be blessed and said, "I hope we will have a better year for humanity than 2024. I wish you a healthy, happy and peaceful year." Ezgi Budak stated that they have come to the center every ski season since it opened, and said, "Skiing is a really enjoyable and fun activity. It's really nice to start the new year with an enjoyable and different activity." Hasan Örgen also stated that he comes to the center every year and skis.

Örgen, who stated that the center has all kinds of facilities, invited ski enthusiasts to Yıldız Mountain Winter Sports and Tourism Center.

The ski center has 2 chairlifts with lengths of 2,551 and 1,636 meters, 804-meter teleski, ski slopes that comply with World Ski Federation standards, a toboggan run, mechanical facilities such as a moving band and a t-bar, as well as a hotel, cafe, restaurant and 25 bungalows.
