Tourism's credit debt narrowed in 11 months
According to the data announced by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, cash loans received in tourism in the 11 months of 2024 amounted to 2.58 billion dollars.
According to the data announced by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), cash loans received in the field of tourism in Turkey decreased by 42 percent in the 11 months of 2024 and increased by 2.58 billion dollars. The increase in 2023 was at the level of 4.45 billion dollars.
According to the news in Tourism Databank, the increase in non-cash loans decreased by 38.4 percent. 72.3 percent of total loans were used by hotels.
