The cruise ship "Astoria Grande" made its first voyage of the year to Amasra

The cruise ship "Astoria Grande", which departed from the city of Sochi in Russia, made its first voyage of the year to the Amasra district of Bartın.

The 193-meter-long, 30-meter-wide, 11-story ship, which arrived in the Amasra district of Bartın, a touristic center famous for its nature and sea, with 1,157 passengers and a crew of 437, anchored at Amasra Port.

Amasra District Governor Kadir Perçi and District Police Chief Sevgül Hayal and other relevant people welcomed the ship's passengers.

Russian brochures were given to the tourists who completed their procedures at the port exit. The tourists then left the port to see historical and touristic places such as the Amasra Museum, Çekiciler Bazaar, Büyük Harbour, Amasra Castle and Kemere Bridge.

It was stated that the ship, which made its first voyage of the year to Amasra, will go to Samsun in the evening.

With the completion of the breakwater construction, which was tendered by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in 2018 within the scope of the "Amasra Port Passenger Pier and Yacht Harbor" project, the "Astoria Grande" cruise ship, which arrived in Amasra for the first time on August 3, 2022, has brought 48 thousand 429 passengers to the district with 60 voyages to date.
