Target at Erciyes Ski Resort: 3 million visitors

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç announced that 2.5 million people from Turkey and abroad visited Erciyes Ski Resort last year, and that they expect over 3 million visitors this year.

According to a written statement from the Metropolitan Municipality, Büyükkılıç and his wife Necmiye Büyükkılıç met with ski enthusiasts at Erciyes Ski Resort.

Büyükkılıç, who examined the ski resort, drew attention to the fact that Erciyes Ski Resort is among the few ski resorts in Turkey, and that it has 19 mechanical facilities, 41 tracks and a track length of 112 kilometers.

Stating that they provide people with the pleasure of skiing with a safe and affordable service environment, Büyükkılıç said, "Our teams are on the field in Erciyes, which is covered in white. When there is any need here, the necessary interventions are made immediately. There is no health problem, our teams are still on duty. We are talking about a unique ski resort in Turkey that is 20 kilometers away from the airport and can be easily reached in 20 minutes." Expressing that they aim to extend the tourism activities in the region to 12 months with the High Altitude Center built in Erciyes Ski Resort, Büyükkılıç emphasized that they will also introduce thermal tourism to Erciyes next season.

 Inviting all ski lovers to Erciyes, Büyükkılıç noted the following:

 "I welcome our guests from Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Czechia, Belarus, Scandinavian countries, England and various countries of the world. As you may remember, we had 2.5 million guests from Turkey and abroad last year. We expect over 3 million guests this year. Our Kayseri is comfortable, relaxed, its food and beverage venues are peaceful and safe. Therefore, it is a city of riches with its pleasure, gastronomy culture and tourism culture. We love our Kayseri, we consider it an honor to be the servant of our Kayseri."
