Radisson Hotel Group further expanded its portfolio across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) in the first quarter of 2024.

According to the company, more than 30 percent of Radisson Hotel Group’s growth in EMEA in the first quarter of 2024 was driven by the new Radisson Blu signings, including properties in Italy and Montenegro.

In the statement, Elie Younes, Head of Global Development, Radisson Hotel Group, said that they have grown their business by approximately 50 percent in the last five years.

“We continue to deliver incredible results, thanks to the trust of our partners and the relevance of our brands. In the first quarter, we created more opportunities with the opening and signing of more than 50 properties. We are finding solutions in the current challenging credit climate and look forward to adding more hotels and resorts as we look to the rest of this year.’

In the first quarter of 2024, more than half of the group’s signings and openings were in the APAC region, led by the Radisson RED and Radisson Blu brands, primarily in India, China and Cambodia.

Key strategic deals include the group’s first property in New Zealand, Radisson RED Auckland, as well as additional deals such as ‘Radisson RED Phnom Penh’ and ‘Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences Phnom Penh (Cambodia),’ ‘Radisson Blu Hotel,’ ‘Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh’ and ‘Radisson Blu Hotel,’ ‘Lucknow Gomti Nagar, Uttar Pradesh (India)’.
