According to the company statement, Radisson Hotel Group continues to expand its footprint in Saudi Arabia with strategic signings in Al Ahsa, Hail, Medina and the third Radisson Collection hotel in Riyadh.
With 29 hotels in operation and 17 under construction, the group is actively working to achieve its goal of operating 100 hotels in Saudi Arabia by 2030. These developments, which are in line with Saudi Vision 2030, position Radisson Hotel Group as a key player in Saudi Arabia’s growing tourism and hospitality sector, while contributing to economic diversification and job creation.
The Group has expanded its portfolio with two significant deals in Jordan for the Radisson Collection Residence, Amman Abdoun and the Radisson RED Amman Downtown. Both properties will open in 2028 and will bring luxury and lifestyle to the heart of Amman, taking the Group’s footprint to three properties in operation and under construction. These signings underscore Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to strengthening its presence in key regional markets and providing guests with experiences that appeal to business and leisure travelers.
Radisson Hotel Group operates a strong and growing portfolio in the Middle East, with 58 properties operating with a total of 12,704 rooms and an additional 30 and 5,107 rooms under construction. The Group has further strengthened its presence in the Middle East by signing seven new hotel and residence projects representing 998 keys across the region to date in 2024.
The recently opened Radisson Hotel & Residence Riyadh Olaya, Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher Alsharqi and Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher Algharbi underscore the Group’s commitment to delivering world-class hospitality in the region.
New development director appointed to the Group
Ayman Ezzeddine has been appointed as Development Director for the Middle East, North East Africa and Pakistan to support the Group’s regional expansion. Ayman brings over a decade of experience in hospitality and development, having previously worked with leading brands in the region. His leadership will focus on accelerating Radisson Hotel Group’s growth, particularly in markets such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Pakistan.
In the first half of 2024, Radisson Hotel Group achieved significant global growth with over 130 new signings and openings in key markets across EMEA and APAC, including the addition of the Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu and Radisson RED brands in new markets, strengthening the Group’s position as a leading player in the global hospitality industry.
