Radisson Hotel Group's learning and development center, Radisson Academy, is celebrating its 5th anniversary.

According to the statement made by the company, Radisson Hotel Group established Radisson Academy in 2019 with the aim of creating a highly productive learning environment that enables team members at various levels to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles and adapt to evolving market demands.

Since its establishment, Radisson Academy has become a milestone in employee development and strategic business success by implementing more than 2,500 training programs.

As part of its strategic transformation plan, Radisson Hotel Group has invested in the Moment Makers team, which covers many departments in more than 95 countries, over the last 5 years.

As part of the Academy, more than 1.5 million hours of training and development were completed by team members in 2023 in more than 2,500 online, live and virtual training programs covering a variety of skills such as service and business skills, leadership skills, hospitality fundamentals and functional expertise.

More than 571 thousand trainings completed

A 27 percent increase in training completion rates was seen in the last 5 years. With an average score of 4.8 out of 5 for each training offered, more than 571 thousand trainings were completed.

Radisson Academy launched its 5th training channel, Radisson Academy Certificates, in 2023 to help teams develop their functional and strategic skills to accelerate their careers. To date, more than 9 thousand team members have completed their certifications in eight different certification programs.

Accelerate, a rapid career development program, was launched in 2022 as part of the Academy.

Looking ahead, Radisson Academy is focusing on advancing training, skills development and corporate development initiatives by further expanding the offering in line with business needs.

The Radisson Academy aims to continue to equip team members with the essential skills to develop professionally, increase their potential through tailored training programs, enable personalized development and create a strong performance culture.

Inigo Capell, Global Head of Human Resources and Human Resources at Radisson Hotel Group, whose views were included in the statement, stated that people continue to be the most important asset at Radisson Hotel Group.

Underlining their cultural value of 'We develop talent, talent develops us', Capell said:

'Our growing Radisson Academy offering is an important way to engage and support existing team members professionally and personally, attract new, dynamic team members and ensure that our team members have the tools they need to build clear, broad and fast careers. Our tailored programs and innovative learning approaches have not only increased individual performance, but have also significantly contributed to the collective success of our entire organization.
