The number of tourists going to Thailand in 2024 reached 35 million.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand announced the number of tourists going to the country in 2024. According to the announced data, the number of tourists going to Thailand in 2024 increased by 17.9 percent compared to 2023, reaching 35 million. The country's income from tourism also exceeded 1.8 trillion baht.

On the other hand, 1 million 745 thousand Russian tourists went to Thailand in 2024. During this period, the number of Russian tourists going to Thailand fell only 700 trips short of the record-breaking 1 million 746 thousand trips in 2013. On the other hand, Russia ranked fifth in the list of countries sending the most tourists to the country.

Thailand aims to increase the number of tourists to 38 million and the number of Russian tourists to 2 million in 2024.
