Number of foreign personnel in Turkish tourism breaks record

34 thousand foreign personnel were granted work permits in the tourism sector in Turkey in 2023. The number of foreign personnel broke a record by exceeding the number of 32 thousand foreign personnel in 2019.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced the number of foreign personnel working in the Turkish tourism sector in 2023.

According to the news in TurizmDatabank, the number of work permits granted to foreigners in Turkish tourism exceeded the 32 thousand in 2019 and reached 34 thousand.

Foreigners worked the most in the accommodation sector with 67 percent.
