Las Vegas gets slight tourism bump with F1 back in November

1.01.2025 -

Las Vegas saw a slight bump in tourism in November as Formula 1 returned to town, even as the airport's flyer total dipped.

About 3.31 million people visited Las Vegas last month, according to figures from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

That's a 0.6% increase from November last year, the month of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix race.

Total hotel occupancy was down 0.5 percentage points compared to the year-ago month. Weekend hotel occupancy ticked up for the month by 0.4 points to 89.1%, but midweek occupancy dropped 2 points to 76.9%.

"While down compared to the recordshattering levels tied to last year's inaugural F1 race, monthly [average daily rates] this year saw the second highest on record for the month of November, reaching $199," the LVCVA wrote in its notes and highlights.

The flyer total for Harry Reid International Airport fell 2.1% in November compared to a year ago, down to 4.74 million passengers.

International travel continued to improve, however, up 16.2% year-over-year to about 309,000 flyers.
