Bring The Boys Back Home

COVID-19 measures are strictly applied all around the world: flights cancelled or restricted, same applies for the borders. However, Sanmar Shipyards chartered a private jet to bring home its own crew upon successful delivery of another RAmparts 2400SX Class ASD Tug to INEOS FPS in Scotland.

The chartered jet landed in Antalya, a major city in south of Türkiye and then the crew have been placed under 14 days quarantine as per the Turkish state ministry of health measures.

BOGACAY XXXIX (renamed QUEENSFERRY) is a 24m 70ton bp ASD Tug, having FİFi 1 class notation and improved as per the client’s operational requirements at Hound Point Terminal. With the addition of QUEENSFERRY, the area has 3 sister Sanmar built tugs: Queensferry, Peterel and Kittiwake.
