2025 Tourist Guide Base Fees Determined

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the base fees for tourist guides to be implemented in 2025. In accordance with the "Tourist Guide Profession Law" numbered 6326, they were increased at the revaluation rate.

In accordance with the "Tourist Guide Profession Law" numbered 6326, they were increased at the revaluation rate. The fees determined by taking into account the 43.93 percent revaluation rate determined for 2025 will come into effect as of January 1, 2025.

In 2025, the fee for daily tour services for tourist guides was determined as 4,435 TL, while this figure was 2,223 TL for night tours and transfer services.

In package tours, the guide service will be applied as 5,345 TL. The monthly fixed fee for tourist guides was determined as 44,322 TL, providing a significant increase in the income of professionals in the sector.

The base fees for Turkish guides were determined as 3,104 lira for daily tours, 1,556 lira for transfer and night tours, 3,742 lira for package tours and 32,000 lira on a monthly basis.

Following the announcement of the new base fees, Ministry officials emphasized the contribution of tourism guides to the reliability and quality of the sector.

The statement made by the Ministry stated, "Our tourist guides are an indispensable part of Turkish tourism. The new fees have been determined both to support professional standards and to show the value this important profession deserves."

The new base fees determined for tourist guides were communicated to sector stakeholders through the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) and the Association of Tourist Guides (TUREB). It is aimed to ensure that guides work in accordance with the new fees.

This regulation aims to support the professional standards of tourist guides and to carry the service quality of Turkish tourism to even higher levels. The Ministry stated that it will continue its goals of developing this area in cooperation with sector stakeholders.
